I have found that throughout Drawing 1 the mixed media projects have brought me the most enjoyment! I feel this may be because of the careful layering of value and then the 'punchy' final look that the charcoal brings to the soft ink wash. Out of the two mixed media pieces above I feel that the drawing on the left was the most successful. I feel that the combination of opaque and transparent objects within the composition work really well together! I believe that finishing with this project allowed me to depict the various skills I had learned from the course into one type of drawing.
