Beginning Reflection - 01/28/20

Within the upcoming weeks I will be beginning my practicum within a school district and I could not be more excited! I am hoping to be placed within an elementary classroom in order to gain more experience with younger leveled students. This past year I worked in a secondary art classroom and was able to develop myself as an educator for these grades but I feel that working with younger students can have a different impact on how an educator conducts themselves. In order to be successful within Art Education Theory and Curricular Practices I believe I will need to make sure I am able to take more risks within the classroom and my own education.
